Visit the Santa Express Train in Canon city, CO!

If I could use one word to describe the Santa Train in Canon City, CO, it would be MAGICAL! My family and I got the amazing opportunity to ride the train this past week and since I have kids ages 5, 3 and 1, it was right up their alley!

I had no idea what to expect but the drive alone to the cute little town was breathtaking enough I knew we were in store for some fun.

Once we got there, I was actually shocked at how big the train was! My kids were literally jumping out of the car because I could even stop!

When we got on the train I was delighted to know they served dinner so we loaded up on pot roast nachos and hot dogs as the train whistle blew and our train ride began!

About 5 minutes into the ride we were served hot chocolate and cookies and you can see as my little girl was chowing down on one…or should I say 3 because she kept finding everyone else’s at the table and sneaking them away.

About halfway into the ride, we road upon the North Pole which included Santa and his elves! My kids were just besides themselves in excitement.

I also have to say I was so impressed with the staff on the ride. The elves all took time out to ask my kids what they wanted for christmas, sang songs and danced with the kids in the aisle and truly made it memorable for my kids.

The highlight had to be Santa visiting each train car and every christmas leading up to now my kids have been deathly afraid of him. He came up to my kids and asked each one what they wanted for christmas in the most grandfather type way that they ACTUALLY spoke to him instead of running off and crying! haha! When he left he gave them each 1 bell from his reindeer.

My kids are already asking when we go back and this will no doubt be a christmas tradition on our house!

Book your tickets today, this is a must see in Denver!
